A woman under the age of 75 has died in a house fire in Telavi.
The fire broke out at a residential house on Akhvlediani Street approximately one hour ago. According to local residents, an elderly woman and her son were living in the house.
The man managed to escape the fire. However, due to serious health issues, the woman had difficulty moving and was unable to leave the burning house.
Emergency medical services arrived at the scene and confirmed that the woman had already died.
Three fire and rescue teams remain on site, while police have also launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
